Easter is right around the corner and I admit, I am not prepared. All our Easter decorations and baskets are packed away since we are trying to sell our house so I didn’t want to spend a whole lot on new baskets since our custom ones are super cute and I want to use them next year. So I picked up some baskets that were under a dollar and to fill them, I hit up the dollar spot at Target.
First of all, I didn’t want to buy a ton of stuff. Growing up, my baskets weren’t huge and extravagant so I decided to challenge myself with only getting things for $5 or less. I have 4 baskets to fill and I’m not made of money. 😛 The candy was actually the most expensive part since I wanted to get Dove bunnies and Peeps.
For Blueberry, I got some cute magnetic dolls that will be easy to pack in the car for our future move. Mac got a Cars toy and some fireman swag since he is obsessed with firemen. But then again, aren’t most kids?
Piglet is obsessed with Lego people so I got him these little knock off ones. I think he’ll love them. He loves having small toys to stick in his pocket for a toy at any given moment. Nugget got a couple stuffed animals because every one I have gotten for him has been reclaimed by his older siblings. Poor kid.
So there’s how we stuffed our baskets without breaking the bank. I will also pick up a movie for the family. I’m thinking Coco or Ferdinand.
What about you? Do you over stuff baskets? Under stuff? Don’t even stuff? Which movie should I pick up?
