Can you believe February is almost over? It’s crazy! I have been slacking in making holiday shirts for the kids but I am on the ball the St. Patrick’s Day shirts! I got a few fun new toys for Christmas that makes using heat transfer vinyl even easier than before so I thought I would share them and show off an easy way to wear some green this St. Patrick’s Day.
For Christmas, I got the Cricut Easy Press (affiliate link) and it is so amazing. You don’t have to worry about your vinyl falling off in the wash from using an iron, it works so simply and you can use pretty much any material you can think of. These shirts are 100% cotton but I have previously done athletic shirts and I want to try wood too. You get an easy guide for how much to set the temperature and the amount of time. Once the light turn green, you apply light pressure and press the C button. Once it beeps, you’re done!
I made these shirts in about 15 minutes, and that included cutting and weeding the heat transfer vinyl (affiliate link) and entertaining my little assistants. Overall, I think they turned out great. I am super glad that St. Patrick’s Day is on a Saturday so I can see them in their shirts all day (and maybe get a picture!) and we can eat corned beef and cabbage without worrying about it being a fasting day during Lent.
What about you? Do you like to have special shirts for holidays? What’s your favorite thing to eat on St. Patrick’s Day?
