Hello hello hello…I thought I would do a quick update on my life. I meant to do it earlier but hey, life gets in the way. Anyway, I’ve been working all week and will soon be going back to working almost full time for the reserves. Which is exciting but that’s not the only exciting thing.
First up, Nugget outgrew the bassinet. It’s so sad. I mean, he’s our last baby so all these “last” things are bittersweet. Since he outgrew the bassinet, we normally would move him to the crib but since he still wakes up in the middle of the night and we don’t want him waking up Mac (they share a room), he’s in the pack-and-play in our room. Maybe in a couple months. But I’m not really excited about moving him out. Then he really won’t be a tiny baby anymore. :'(
I also started reading The Tunnels by Greg Mitchell. I was provided the book by Blogging for Books for free to review. It is so interesting. As a child, I went to Berlin and saw the Holocaust museum and I still cannot forget it. The lengths people went to escape is amazing. This book is crazy. NBC and CBS were on hand, helping people build tunnels to assist people in escaping. JFK wasn’t too keen on it and tried to squash the documentaries. It reads like a fictional book but it’s 100% real. You should read it.
And finally, my friend Brittney chose me to be a brand rep for her Etsy store, Olive and Rose. I’ve known her since middle school? I don’t know, a long time. Anyway, she makes amazing embroidery and personal items. I’ll be sharing the items she sent in the next few weeks on Instagram but if you check out her store and like what you see, you can save 15% using code LIFE15. I totally recommend hitting it up. The bunny shirt can be personalized with your little one’s name if you want!
So that’s what’s up in my neck of the woods. What’s good with you?
