Here we go friends, round 4 of gender reveals. This time around, I was impatient and did not want to wait until 20 weeks for the big ultrasound and gender determination. 20 weeks is just soo long to wait. I googled “gender ultrasounds” and found a place that got great reviews on Yelp and we decided to do it.
This place was pretty nice. Instead of a hospital bed, I was laying on a normal bed. There was a huge TV on the wall showing what the tech was seeing so I didn’t have to crane my neck. At first baby was sitting straight up with their legs out straight so the tech had me do a couple moves to encourage baby to roll.
And baby rolled! Hubs thought baby was a girl, I wasn’t sure. A girl would mean 2 of each while a boy would mean that my Irish twins would be best buds and sentenced to a life of sharing a room (haha).
After we found out the gender, we stopped at Babies R Us to a get a “Little ____” onesie but they had none so I got some plain ones and made my own.
A drum roll please….
That’s right! One more little dude in the house. The tech was pretty confident that it’s a boy and we definitely saw boy bits. We even got to see the baby in 4D, which was our first 4D ultrasound and even though it was my baby, I still thought it was freaky.
Anyway, we’re super excited. Blueberry was convinced it was a baby girl and cried when we told her the baby is a boy but she’ll get over it. I once wanted a little sister too but now embrace being the only girl. 🙂
The real question is: will this one also be a blondie?
