Another Halloween has come and gone. This year was pretty fun because Piglet was old enough to grasp the concept of “trick or treating.” We walked around almost the whole neighborhood and he went to every house. He said “trick or treat” and “thank you” and got a lot of goodies. Blueberry did okay, she mostly just stood there and said “thank you” when the people gave her candy, but that’s okay, she’s not even 2 yet.
Piglet was Super Mario and I think his costume looked great. Not to brag but we saw a store-bought Mario and Piglet looked WAY cuter. He loved his hat and is still wearing it.
Blueberry was Cinderella. Hubs said people would think she was Elsa and about 4 people called her that, even though her hair was in a bun, not a braid and the dress didn’t even look like an Elsa dress. Oh well. She liked her costume too and in true Cinderella fashion, she ditched her shoes during the trick or treating process.
Hubs carved his pumpkin and was Super Luigi to Piglet’s Mario. Only we couldn’t find overalls so a green shirt and prop mustache was the best we could do. At least his hat was authentic. 😉
They kid’s painted their pumpkin and then painted themselves. And then the table. And then each other and needed emergency baths before dinner but it’s all in the name of Holiday Traditions right?
And then I tried in vain to get a group picture. Maybe one day….
Hope you had a happy Halloween. Let the Christmas countdown begin!
