Want an easy decoration for Valentine’s Day this year? Of course you do. All you need is some felt, ribbon, and something to sew with. I used my sewing machine but you could always glue or handsew the hearts.
First, I cut up a bunch of hearts. Like a lot. I used my Accuquilt Go! cutter but you could just as easily fold the felt in half and cut some hearts out. Cut as many as you want. The more hearts, the longer the garland.

Then, I started sewing the hearts to the ribbon. For the pink and purple garland, I sewed the hearts pretty much right next to each other. For the red one, I left a space in between. Once I was done sewing, I trimmed all the extra strings and I sewed a loop at the end of the ribbon.
Bam! You’re done. Easy peasy. It took about fine minutes to sew it. So easy, I made the red one and then made the pink one. And now I have some cute garlands around the house.
For these 2 garlands, I bought 2 different spools of ribbon and 3 sheets of each color of felt. I needed 3 sheets because of the different sizes of hearts. If you made all your hearts the same size, you might not need all sheets. Of course felt is like 15 cents a pop so go crazy!
