Here are a few of my favorite posts from many years of blogging. Some are old, back when I just blogged with tiny pictures but I still like them. If you’re interested in a crash course about what I blog about, these are the posts you should check out.
I wasn’t always inJENious life, I started blogging as Beebee Belly and announced my rebrand here. In 2016, I moved to WordPress and have loved it ever since! A little blogging survey, most of the information still hold true. I am an Army veteran and I talk about Veteran’s Day here. A long time ago, I was obsessed with peg people crafts and I made these for Blueberry’s room. In the beginning of blogging, I always wanted to share craft tutorials. Here is my first one! Here is a post I did with all my quilting tips, I love to quilt and have learned some cool stuff as a self-taught quilter. This newborn hat tutorial is the perfect answer to what to do with baby’s first hat. This post was the most popular recipe I’ve posted yet, and if you like chocolate you need to make it ASAP.
Fast forwarding a little bit, here is my first informational post: getting your pets to Hawaii. It’s not as easy as you think! Piglet was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Hawaii and this was the start of our diagnosis journey. This was my first half marathon, I had done small races before but this was my first long distance race and I’m proud of how well I did. While we struggled with Piglet, we also struggled with raising a “normal” child. After having Blueberry, I struggled with PPD and talked about it here. When I first started this blog, I talked about my struggles with weight, I talk about acceptance here.
One of our goals in Hawaii was to visit the other islands, the Big Island was our first and seeing a volcano was amazing. We also got a chance to visit South Korea and this was our favorite day in the trip. Also while on Oahu, we took a helicopter ride. It was amazing. Living in Hawaii meant visiting the Disney Resort, check out the character breakfast.
Now that we’re in Colorado, we’ve become homeowners and have started out exploring all the wonders the west has for us. One of our favorite things so far to explore was the Garden of the Gods. I’ve also been getting more familiar with eating gluten free and these muffins are to die for! You won’t even miss the gluten. 😉
