I wanted to drop in and give a little update on what’s been happening since my last life lately post.
For starters, we are selling our house! I love our house and wish I could take it with us to every duty station but that seems a little hard so we have listed it. Fingers crossed that it sells quickly because this is stressful. Have you ever sold a house before? Any tips for a first timer?
Over this past weekend, I had drill and we had an open house so Hubs packed the kids up and drove to a new zoo about 40 minutes away. They had a blast playing and running all over the park despite it not being a very large zoo. Hubs was sending me pics all day and I was so sad I couldn’t go with them but since we will probably have more open houses, there will be ample opportunity for us all to hang out.
Since I finished up my workout plan I am trying to think of a new goal and finally landed on extending my plank time. I did 30 seconds every day last week and will add 30 seconds each week until Easter (April 1). I want to work on my endurance and strength so I feel like increasing my plank time will be a nice goal during this month.
Since it’s Lent, we are not eating meat on Fridays and we are trying to do Meatless Mondays once Lent is over. I was able to pick up this recipe book, Power Plates by Gena Hamshaw from Blogging for Books in exchange for a review and I am so excited. I have never really worked with tofu but the recipes inside look amazing. I made a power plate in using a few recipes already and it is a keeper. If you are looking to stop eating meat once day a week or perhaps you never eat it, you need to check this book out.
