One of my most popular posts from the search engine is this 30 day workout. It’s from my early days of blogging and I guess I figured out good SEO for once in my life because it gets the hits. Anyway, as I work to prepare for an Army PT test, I have a 28 day workout that I have been doing for about a week now. I wanted to share it with you in case you are looking for a challenge.
It’s 28 days long, 6 days of work with 1 day of rest for 4 weeks and it builds on itself as you progress. You can download a printable copy by clicking here. This is also a great accomping workout for doing a new food regiment as well. If you are looking to do a Whole28 (heh) while you do this, check out my essential list to prepare before diving in!
For the cardio portion, I do either a walk/jog on the treadmill or on the elliptical. It just depends on my mood that day. For my PT test, I do the 2.5 mile walk due to an injury in 2009 so the walk/jog is nice. If it were warmer, I would go outside but Colorado is too dang cold right now.
Anyway, this is a simple, 5 exercise routine that is designed to get you ready to take a PT test so if you don’t want to do sit ups, you can trade out for crunches. What’s your favorite way to get in your body weight exercises?
If you decide to incorporate this workout into a Whole 30, check out this Amazon list for your one-stop shop for all the things I love to use when exercising or meal prepping. It has my favorite workout gear, pots, pans, and sneakers to keep me on track with working out because if you can’t have comfortable workout clothes, why even bother?
