I figured it’s been a while since I did a life lately and I have a couple reviews to share so here we are. I was away from home for almost all of September so I am happy to be home and to get back into the swing of things. We love Halloween in this house so be prepared for some sweet Halloween posts coming soon!
We have decided to tackle the Whole30 this month. We are on day 2 and so far, we just realized how hungry we get between meals. Hopefully with a couple tweaks we can stop being so hungry at 10 am. If you have done a Whole30, I’d love to know some tips and if you want to see all my food, follow along on Instagram.
I got this book from Blogging for Books for free in exchange for a review. Honestly, it is not a good one. I only read 1/3 of the book because it just didn’t seem to make any sense. The characters were blah. The storyline was convoluted. I never actually knew why I was reading what I was reading. If you come across this, it’s a hard pass. :/
I also received this embroidery kit for a review. I have been wanting to learn embroidery for a while so I figured why not? The book is easy to read and follow along and I was able to create 2 designs in 2 days. The only downside is that the box says everything is included except there’s only 2 pieces of fabric so while you get enough threads, you are missing the fabric to actually do the embroidery.
And finally, I got my first Planners Anonymous box. It is full of goodies! It actually arrived while I was out of town so I got to see all the reveals and I was so excited to get into it. I used some of the supplies to make a notebook to document my Whole30 journey and I still have a TON of stuff left. If you want to try it, you can get 10% using my link!
