Our little Macadamia Nut turned 2 this week! I cannot believe it. He is obsessed with cars and dinosaurs and when I saw these dinosaur party decorations, I could not stop looking at them. They were perfect for our little Mac. We celebrated his birthday the day after his actual day because, well, life really. Piglet had a soccer game and we both had to work. Luckily, he didn’t seem to mind.
I like all the decorations but my favorite were the lanterns. The looked great hanging from the ceiling and acting as a center piece. I also picked up some plates, napkins, party dino hats, and these cute drink bottles. For activities, I got some photo booth props and some magic color dinosaur ornaments, like the ones I got for their summer busy bags.
I loved the photo booth props. The kids enjoyed them. They used them as puppets and put on a little show and then I was like, they’re for your face! Bingo! These kids love to have their pictures taken. Is that vain? I think it’s just a kid thing. Before we broke out the cupcakes, the kids worked on some dinosaur ornaments and Mac just walked around, observing his party and begging for candy.
From the moment I put these lollipops on the table, the kids wanted them. After they ate enough dinner, I finally let Mac have one and he was so happy. We sang him Happy Birthday and even though he looks excited, he definitely didn’t know what to do with the cupcake. He licked some frosting and then went back to the lollipop. What can you do? For his gift, he got a train table and man, that was the best thing ever. He loves to come play on the lip our of bathtub with cars because it’s just the right height for him so I knew the train table would be a win. He has not stopped talking about it since!
Happy Birthday Mac-attack! We love you so much!
