I may be late to the party but I signed up for StitchFix. After graduating college and joining the Army and wore a uniform every day, that tradition has continued now and so I have no idea what to wear besides jeans and a t-shirt. I am tired of wearing such boring clothes. I mean, I’m 30. I should know how to dress myself. So, I decided to give StitchFix a try. I’ve heard people don’t like it but at first look, I liked what I got.
All the clothes are wrapped up like a present. Before I opened it, I read all the paperwork I got and was excited about the “how to style” your clothes card. Styling is the biggest reason why I signed up so this is super helpful.
I got 2 tops and 2 bottoms. The pants are super cool, straight leg and comfy but they’re the wrong size. It’s not they’re fault, I have a hard time finding pants that fit so they are going back. The skirt fits but I’ve never worn a pencil skirt so I will need Hubs’ opinion on whether it looks alright. The tops are cute. I really like the purple one and it is totally a keeper. The orange one is nice and fits great but the exposed shoulder is something I don’t usually do so I’m still thinking about if I want to keep it or not.
The last piece was a pair of earrings. They are really pretty but with a baby who likes to pull hair, they are more expensive that I would normally spend on “sometimes” earrings so they’re going back. You get 25% off if you buy all five pieces but since the pants don’t fit, I already wasn’t going to be getting the discount. I am happy with everything though and am excited for the next box.
Have you ever tried StitchFix? Do you want to?
