As the mother of 3 young children, strollers are important to me. Baby wearing didn’t really “take off” until Blueberry was too big to wear. I did wear Mac in the beginning but strollers are where it’s at. I can carry stuff in the basket, he can look around, snack, whatever. And since it’s hot in Hawaii, I don’t have to wear a tiny human furnace. 😉
I was sent the GB Lyfe Pram Travel System to review and I could not have been more excited. I have been wanting a European style stroller for a while now, I just didn’t know what was out there as far as options. This travel system is available at Babies R Us and comes with a car seat and a toddler seat that can also lay completely flat for your little one to sleep in. The car seat and the toddler seat click in and out in less than 30 seconds so you can move the car seat from the car to the stroller base with no issue. Mac fit quite nicely in the car seat at 10 months and he is a long baby.
Another great thing about the stroller is that it holds up to 50 pounds. That means that even Piglet at nearly 6 can still ride in it! Of course, he is a “big boy” and likes to help push strollers rather than ride but his sister was all about it. Once we took Mac out, she immediately climbed in and got cozy.
Mac really likes his new ride and I really like it too. I’m also excited because the new baby will also be able to use the car seat and stroller base in a few months as well. This stroller is high quality! The basket underneath the seat is also HUGE. We put a diaper bag, a purse, 2 water bottles, and all the shopping we did at the mall and there was still room for more. It also folds pretty much completely flat which makes sticking it into a trunk easy. I also really like how high up the toddler seat is. So many strollers have your baby looking at people’s knees and this one gets them farther from the grime on the street. If you’re in the market for a stroller system, you should totally consider this one!
