I don’t know about where you are today, but here, the weather is still great. I know, it’s probably snowing in your town but Hawaii is still sunny. Sorry! Since the weather is always nice, working out outside is a year-round event.
You may think that just throwing on a t-shirt and shorts is good enough, but no, there are a few more warm-weather workout essentials.
First up: a hat or visor. Since my hair is long, I prefer the visor but headgear of some kind is basically mandatory.
Next up: sunscreen. Obviously. No one wants skin cancer, I put this one before leaving the house. Even if I’m not about to workout.
Thirdly: a FlipBelt. What’s this? It’s a catch-all, carry-all. It fits my keys, my iPhone, headphones. Everything. I love it. It’s much more useful than an arm band.
Finally: Water. Specifically Kona Water®.
But Jen, what’s wrong with tap water. Well, nothing. But Kona Water® is so much better! It’s a local product – and I am all about supporting local businesses – that not only tastes amazing but now you no longer have to chose between purity and performance. Electrolytes are crucial for hydration and body balance. Kona Deep® is naturally rich with deep ocean electrolytes which are quickly and easily absorbed. In fact, a new study underway at the University of Arizona seeks to evaluate the impact of post-exercise hydration with deep ocean mineral water on exercise performance, rehydration and recovery, and interim results further strengthen this connection.
Kona Water® comes from hard-to-obtain deep ocean water, originating from melted glaciers from Greenland, the current travels the globe along the ocean’s surface. It is sourced 3,000 feet from Kona, it’s desalinated and bottled at the source and has a natural pH of 6.7, which is close to our own body!
Doesn’t it sound amazing? You can get it now on all the islands at Foodland, Safeway, Minit Stop, Down to Earth, and even the military exchanges and print this coupon before you go! Not on the islands? You can order it from Amazon and it’ll be rolling out to the mainland later this year. Or can enter below for your chance at winning 12 bottles!
