My tiny little Piglet is 5 years old today. I can’t believe it. It’s been a wild ride but worth every second. Since Piglet is in school now and I wanted to do something special for him. He has to be in school all day so I talked to his teacher and we decided goody bags would be a fun treat for his show-and-tell day.
Back in my day, my mom could bake cupcakes and bring it in but now, with all the allergies we have to bring store-bought baked goods. Piglet does not like baked goods so I decided he should share a few of his favorite and dare I say, healthy things.
I grabbed some gift bags, Aloha print of course and looked for some party favors. Blueberry helped out and found a 12 pack of bouncy balls at Target. I get Buddy Fruits delivered every couple weeks from Amazon so I had tons of those on hand. I also raided the Halloween Starbursts and got to stuffing bags.
But I didn’t want to just have the bags all boring. No way. I decided to make a cute little tag to attach. I made it in Photoshop and then printed 4 a sheet on card stock. Once they were all printed, I cut them out and used a single whole punch to make a hole in the corner.
The bags came with twist ties and I attached the card to goody bag. They say
“Let’s bounce and play
Today is my Birthday!”
Get it? A fun little rhyme about the contents. #momjokes
So do you have a little one who might want a bouncy birthday celebration? Don’t fret! You can save the picture below and print some out for yourself. After all, what little kid doesn’t like bouncy balls?
I hope Piglet has a fun day at school today! After we get home, we’re going out to a special dinner and playtime at one of his favorite playgrounds.
Happy 5th Birthday Piglet!
