We’re coming to an end of our Aulani staycation. Did you see the room? The pools? The food? Today, we’re talking about Mickey Mouse. We told the kids we were going to see Mickey and so the character breakfast was a must. Here’s a tip though: make a reservation. I assumed we could just walk in but no, you need a reservation. Luckily, we got squeezed in and were able to see all the characters.
When you check in, you get in line to take a picture with Mickey. Piglet and Blueberry was super pumped. We told the kids that Mickey is really tall in real life and not to be scared but Blueberry was freaked out. Piglet was scared at first but Mickey was a trooper and he came around.
At the breakfast, Minnie and Goofy walk around. Blueberry was scared and always hid when they came around but like a true silly-billy, as soon as they walked away, she would light up and say “OMG! We just met Goofy!” The food was amazing, of course. Breakfast buffets are all right with me. Plus they had Mickey Mouse waffles which I dream about like all the time.
We ended up with an interesting picture to say the least but it was still fun. It was also expensive so keep that in mind. Mickey Mouse doesn’t take pictures for cheap.
Have you been to Aulani? Did you enjoy it?
