Catching up on life lately, the book edition!
Remember when I talked about getting free Kellogg’s books? Well, our first shipment came in and Piglet was so excited! Have you gotten any books yet?
I know a lot of you may be heading back to college at this time, like my little brother so I thought I would share Campus Book Rentals. You can save 40-90% on books, get free shipping both way, each purchase also donates to Operation Smile, and you can even highlight in the books! Amazing! I wish I had known about this when I was in college.
The Negroni: Drinking to La Dolce Vita, with Recipes & Lore by Gary Regan is a book I recently got from Blogging for Books. I was really intrigued because the book stated the negroni one of the world’s most iconic cocktails but I had never heard of it. Crazy, I know. After ready the book, I am excited to try one. It’s going to be on the menu next time Hubs and I have a date night for sure.
I just finished reading The Girl on the Train. By reading, I mean, listening to it on Audible but anyway, it’s been in my queue for a while and man, I’m sorry I waited so long. It was really good. It’s got 3 different people telling the story so the audiobook really worked out. I heard they’re making it into a movie but bringing it to America (this book is based in England) I’m not too sure how that’ll work because American’s don’t use the train so much but I’m still curious to see what it’ll be about.
So, what’s new with you and books lately?
