Life lately hasn’t all been vacations and back to school time. I mean, I spend a lot of time dreaming of our vacation. Sipping mason jar drinks by the pool. Ahhh…
Anyway, things have been pretty exciting around here too.
Last weekend we got Macadamia Nut baptized. It was during Saturday mass and he cried nearly the entire time. My older brother was unable to fly out as the Godfather but my amazing neighbors stepped up and stood in for him and we couldn’t be more thankful. The ceremony was beautiful and I’m glad we got him baptized so quick. Because of Hubs work schedule, Bluebery had to wait until she was 4 months old! Luckily, Mac is only 2 months (already??)
Since I created this recipe while Hubs was gone, I finally made my Garlic Teriyaki Steak in the slow cooker for him. He loved it. I didn’t even make enough for seconds, let alone leftovers! Next time, I’m making more for sure. I also make bok choy with it and added some green onions on the top. Delish!
I love this picture of Piglet and Macadamia Nut. Piglet doesn’t always engage with Mac because Mac doesn’t do much so he is still kind of boring. Piglet was playing on my bed and I reminded him to be careful of the baby and he immediately went and looked at him. Mac smiled and Piglet was like “he’s smiling! He’s smiling!” A total melt-my-heart moment. This one is going to be printed for sure.
Speaking of printing pictures, this one needs to be printed too. I gave Blueberry a donut after church and Hubs opened the sun roof and we basically broke our daughter. She thought it was so cool. Hahaha! She’s also mid “CHEESE” for the picture. God bless iPhone’s burst function.
How have you been lately? What’s new?
