Growing up, I’m sure your mom was just like mine. Always demanding we eat our vegetables. No leaving the table until we’ve done so. You know the drill. As a grown up, I love that I don’t have to eat vegetables if I don’t want to.

He loves bussel sprouts. I blame it all on him being half English. But brussels are good. When cooked in bacon. Because bacon.
To start off, I chop up some bacon and cook it. You want the bacon crispy. But not too crispy because it will still have some time to cook while the brussels do.
When the bacon is almost done, throw in the brussel sprouts. Yes. Into the bacon fat. It’s what makes them delicious. Saute the brussels until the bacon is completely crsipy and the brussels have browned a little bit.
Then, eat them. And enjoy. And then make them every single night. Seriously. If I could, I would.
