I told you last week about my workout plans and that I would share a push up and sit up plan with you. I have to be honest, I didn’t even have a plan when I told you that. I know I needed one because I need to get back into shape for my PT test but I had no idea what to do.
I have to do push ups and sit ups for the Army and without the PT test hanging over my head, I would never do sit ups. They totally suck. I would probably do push ups but not nearly as much I probably should. For example, I haven’t done either exercise since before I got pregnant. Whoops.
Since I didn’t really know where to start, I turned to google and found this floating around. I couldn’t find the original source but I like the plan. Adding squats and lunges will help get my booty back into shape – which is important since in Hawaii, I spend 90% of my time in shorts and those always look better without a flat butt. 😛
It doesn’t seem like a lot to start but by the end of the month, I should be able to do the push up and sit up portion in the allotted 2 minute time frame the Army gives me and I’ll get 100 points for each event. Fun stuff, let me tell you.
