Kids Clothes Week has come and gone again this one was my best yet. Seriously, I sewed more than 7 things and everything looks wonderful. Everything except 1 pair of pjs are clothes that can be worn outside of the house and they will be!
I was only going to sew a few things but I have a slight addiction to buying cute fabric so I made more stuff. I still even have 1 piece of fabric that I didn’t sew anything with yet! So, what did I make? Let’s take a look.
This pattern is new, it’s called the Izzy Top. My friend Emily showed it to me and I went crazy. It’s so easy to sew, I made 2 tops and 1 dress using it. Once I sewed the first one, the second 2 were sewn it about an hour. Combined. The green and fruit one is knit so that made it even easier.
This dress was sewn using Simplicity Vintage Baby 1813. Since the fabric had a vintage feel, I chose a vintage pattern. I think it turned out really sweet. I can only hope it stays white. It probably won’t because Blueberry is one messy baby. Always in the dirt with that one.
I used the same Simplicity pattern for these shorts for Blueberry. The little girl on the cover of the pattern had tight pants but these ended up being baggy. Maybe because I used seer-sucker instead of knit. Oh well, she needs shorts and these are super cute.
These are the same shorts from My Growing Home. Easy pattern, easy to sew.
