While the Hubs has been picking up the cooking slack, he decided to get creative with breakfast. I usually eat an Eggo every day but he decided that he wanted to make some waffles from scratch. He found a basic recipe online and then decided to add a couple teaspoons of vanilla and dessert waffles were born.
They are super yummy and the vanilla isn’t too sweet. I dressed mine up with powdered sugar and butter. We made so many that we had some to freeze and then I had them all week for breakfast. We put them all in a freezer bag and some of them stuck together so if you have any advice on freezing waffles and preventing them from sticking together, I’d love to hear it.
