Like I mentioned on Monday, Hawaiians love their food trucks. They even have these get together thingys that are basically a designated time and place for food trucks to gather and craft booths to pop up. Do they do these things other places? Kentucky was lacking in this area so all this seems so islandy to me.
There was a HUGE line for lemonade that comes in mason jars but that didn’t really appeal to us so we walked around and decided to try some garlic shrimp. You already know how that turned out. Piglet hated the crowds of course so we didn’t stay too long but every little bit we try counts.

The shrimp was yummy. There was a breeze and when the Hubs turned away for a second, the wind blew the shrimp shells off the table and right onto poor Blueberry. She smelled like shrimp for the rest of the day.
So that was our first food truck festival. Will we try another? I’m not sure. The main reason we went to this one is because it was like 5 minutes from the beach and Hubs LOVES the beach. One day I’ll be a beach bunny.
