It’s a little late, but oh well, this year for Christmas dinner we decided on a roast beast instead of a roast turkey like we did last year. I was at a loss on how to season it since I didn’t have any pot roast packets on hand. I looked around on Pinterest for a while and found nothing but some ideas.
I took covered the outside with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and the put it in a crock pot.
To keep it moist, I mixed some worcestershire sauce and Italian dressing.
I cooked it on low for 8 hours. It smelled so good I couldn’t wait to eat it.
We ate it with some asparagus and mashed potatoes. I made some gravy from the drippings and flour and we were all ready to go.
Yum! It was so good, we won’t wait until Christmas to make it again. 😉
Did you make anything special for Christmas this year?
