Well folks, 2013 is coming to an end. When did that happen? I feel like I never even got used to writing “2013” down and now, poof, it’s almost 2014. Nuts!
Anyway, I have some goals for 2014 and I thought I’d share them.
Blog Goals: This year I would like to expand my blog. I spent the latter part of the year, posting consistently and meeting new bloggers. Next year, I’d like to make a better effort to comment on the blogs I follow and be a better blog host. If you have any tips for keeping your readers happy, please share them! I also was to pursue being a sponsor and sponsoring other blogs I just need to figure out how.
Workout Goals: I want to keep up my running and keep up with some weight training. I’m so touch and go with weight lifting and this year, I really want to find a regiment and keep up with it. I’d like to get some definition and tone to my arms and waist and that’s not going to happen on running alone. I also want to lose some weight (who doesn’t). At least 15 pounds. I managed to keep off 10 pounds last year (after yo-yoing all the time) and I’d really like to stay on trend.
Eating Healthy: The final goal is to eat better. I’ve been slowly adding organic stuff to our diet and I want to keep doing that. While I love Kraft Mac and Cheese, there’s so many unnecessary additives and I don’t want to keep adding that to our bodies. I also want to eat more fruits and veggies and start juicing again (with our juicer, not steroids). After this holiday season of indulgence, we need to change our eating habits for real.
Personal Goals: One of the things I’d like to focus on this coming year is my husband. We were very stressed with our last duty station, pair that up with PPD and I feel strained sometimes. I often find myself getting upset or being unappreciative for no reason (example: Hubs cleaned all 3 toilets before work and I snapped at him because he was going to be late instead of saying thank you). I want to focus on not being mean and remember that our stressful jobs are over and we’re living in a good place, we have a ton of time to hang out, and everything is great. Santa brought us an Xbox One and a Wii U and we’ve already been using it to bond and I hope to continue that throughout the year.
Have you made any goals? What are they?
