Here’s the second week that I’m linking up with Chantal, Caitlin, and Caitlin to talk about what us Stay At Home Moms Actually DO during the day. I hope you enjoyed week one. Here’s the second round of questions.
What things do you do outside of your home? Ex: volunteering, exercise, etc.
Outside of the house, I run. All the time. I recently started getting into running after not running since 2009. I like to do it pretty much every day. I run with the kids, we run as a family. Basically, we run. I also work in the US Reserves (when we’re not sequestered). We keep saying we’re going to go back to church but we haven’t gotten around to it. I don’t know if they have daycare during Mass and we need it because our kids are crazy!
What do you do for you? What do I do for me? Good question. I like to sew, so I do that a lot. I even have an Etsy shop. I like to blog (obviously) . I also just like to take walks by myself to have some me time.
How do you keep your relationship going after kids? We started doing races together. Since we’re both in the Army and being in shape is a part of the job, it made sense to incorporate an active lifestyle. We also have been looking into new foods to try at home just to break out of the normal rut of our daily life.
What kind of groups are you involved in, if any? Oh, none and I need some desperately. I don’t know anyone here so the only adult I speak to is my husband. I need some friends but I have no idea how to make them. I guess joining a group would do the trick but I don’t know what groups to join. :/
