Lately, I’ve been running a lot. I’ve set some mileage goals for the month and I am happy to say that I have passed each goal every month.
In August, my goal was 75 miles and I managed to hit 76.83. I even took more days off than I intended to.
In September, I wanted to do 80 miles and I did 86.45! I can’t believe how many more than my goal I did. So, for October, I’m challenging myself to do 90. That’s a 10 mile increase from last month. By December, I want to be able to run 100 miles in the month but that’s long term. Right now, I need to focus on the next 31 days and the 90 miles between then and now. Usually, I only run 4 miles at the longest but this month, I want to focus on running 5 miles at a time at least 2 times a week. Hubster recently showed me a 5 mile loop on the base and I am eager to try it.
