Well, we tackled another part of our move. The movers came and brought all our junk. Well, almost all our junk. 2 boxes didn’t fit into any of our crates because the movers emptied out drawers when they shouldn’t have.
Hopefully we see those other boxes again. Someday.
The movers arrived on time. They were so quick too! All 5 of the first batch of crates were unloaded by 11:30. We broke for lunch and then the next truck showed up.
The kids kept entertained by watching some kooky color show on my iPad. It’s basically watching crayons color while they yell out their own name. Sounds strange but Piglet learned his colors in the course of 2 days, so yay!
By 3:30, everything was inside our house. It took the movers until 5:30 to leave though because we bought a particularly difficult bed from IKEA for Piglet. Oops.
Piglet was thrilled to see his toys again. Once he found something he remembered, he was all over it. He also kept stealing the stickers and putting them on his back. At his daycare, they had stickers on their back with their names and so now, whenever Piglet gets his hand on a sticker, he puts it right on his back. Adorable.
Blueberry helped out by supervising and being generally adorable. Such a big lady, in a real seat on the jogging stroller instead of in the “baby” seat.
So, now the next task is to figure out where to put all this crap.
You never realize how much stuff you own until it’s staring you in the face.
