This pizza sounded amazing when I was surfing WW for some new meal choices. Barbecue chicken is delicious, I do love a good black bean. It sounded perfect.
Let me tell you, it was.
First off, I gathered my supplies. The pizza takes about 15 minutes to make so I wanted everything separated out before I started.
I used a whole wheat crust which was so freaking good. Chicken breast, Mexican blend of shredded cheese, and for the barbecue sauce, we opted for Sweet Baby Ray’s.
After cooking the chicken and giving it a quick bath in half of the BBQ sauce, I assembled everything on the crust.
A quick 10 minutes in the oven to melt the cheese and make everything nice and hot and this baby was ready to eat. My husband and I had to stop ourselves from almost eating the entire pie in one sitting. Literally, it was that good. My husband kept saying how easy it was and how silly he felt all those times buying a froze BBQ chicken pizza when this little gem was just a mouse click away.
We’re definitely adding it to our dinner recipe collection so next time we ask each other “What’s for dinner?” We’ve got another option to add to the pile.
Delicious, yummy goodness, all complete and ready for consumption!
