In December, I wrote this entry with workout plans for the next three months. In January, I wanted to workout at least 3 times a week and lose 3 pounds.
I started the month out at 176 and this morning, I weighed in at 173. Whoop! Weight goal complete. I also took measurements of my neck, waist, and hips since I am still in the Army and those are the measurements that are taken when you don’t make weight and need to be taped. I started out at 13.5 in, 39 in, and 39 in for my neck, waist, and hips. Now I’m at 13, 38, and 38.5. Pretty good I think.
As for workouts? I did AWESOME! Below is a picture of my calendar. I always write down my workout for the day and as you can see, I did a lot. I forgot how great I feel after a workout and couldn’t just stop at 3 times a week.
This month, I said I was going to be doing Jillian Micheal’s 30-Day Shred but I decided to do something else instead. I’m going to be using the Nike Training Club app to do workouts instead. It’s easier because I don’t have to monopolize the TV so I can workout while Piglet watches a movie. I also want to lose 5 pounds. Fingers crossed my January luck follows me through this month.
