Welcome to 2013. Everyone starts resolutions and want to change their lives and I’m going to try and set some goals too.
First up, Eat Healthier. I want to try and stop eating so many salty snacks and eat more fruits and vegetable snacks. I already started eating more while I was pregnant but I also ate salty stuff too. Now that I’m not pregnant, I want to cut down on the chips and crackers.
Next up, Be Fit. I am already back to my pre-pregnancy weight but that weight unfortunately was not a healthy weight. I’d like to lose 20 pounds by the end of the year. I think in 12 months, I can totally do it. I just need to stay motivated and on track.
And, Pump. Blueberry is unable to latch onto my left side and I decided in the hospital to exclusively pump breast milk for her, that way the Hubster gets to bond more and I get to still give her the awesome goodness of breast milk. I want to do it for at least 6 months, I’m already 1 month down and I’m in a good routine with the 2 kiddos. I hope I can do it.
Finally, Stop Slouching. I have been really unhappy with my posture lately. I always tended to slouch but lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m turning into a round ball of terribleness. So, I am going to try and stop slouching. Part of being fit will help me out because I have some exercises planned that improve posture. I also have been more aware of my slouching and have tried to sit up straight when I think about it.
