The Gender Debate

When a woman gets pregnant, there’s 2 options for what kind of baby you’ll get. A boy or a girl. I’m the type of person who likes to know EVERYTHING about any given situation I may find myself. Being pregnant is awesome, making a new life, contributing to the world, etc. However, for slight control freaks like me, it is not as fun.

For one, what was the exact day of conception? When will I deliver? “Estimated” delivery date ain’t cutting it, tell me tiny baby, what day are you popping out and what gender will you be?

Some people wait until DD to find out. I am not that patient. I’m 14 weeks now and every day I wonder what the gender will be.

I found out Piglet was a boy at 20 weeks. On TheBump.com, there’s a Chinese Gender Chart. It’s all for fun BUT last time, it was spot on.

A boy! Yay! We wanted a boy first so we were thrilled. I muscled through to 20 weeks, despite my 2 other preggo friends who went in earlier and paid to find out the gender.

I am currently trying to wear down The Hubster to go find out the gender of baby number 2 early. Like in 2 weeks! I don’t know if we will, but I really want to find out, like, now. TheBump.com has told me a girl is on the horizon which I think would be awesome. This might be our last kid so it would be awesome to have one of each.

So, hopefully in 2 short weeks, I’ll be announcing a gender. 😀
