The Internet is a helpful thing….it’s also dangerous. I had to work a 24 hour shift yesterday and I spent a lot of time googling about baby milestones.
Now, Piglet can smile and laugh. He coos and can sit in his bumbo like a pro. What he can’t do is roll over. According to parenting.com, babies should be able to roll over between 2-3 months old. Piglet is almost 4.
I’m so worried that because I’m working full time, he isn’t getting enough tummy time. His sitter does it sometimes but she also has a 6 month old and a 2 year old to watch so she can’t dedicate the amount of tummy time needed to perfect my little Piglet’s rolling.
When I pick him up from work, it’s his dinner time and then we play for about an hour before his bedtime bottle and the little guy is out for the night. I really don’t want him to be delayed.
Since he loves his bumbo, I know he is getting stronger neck muscles. He can pretty much support his head all the time, he just needs stronger abs. I won’t stop working until the end of May and by then, he’ll be 6 months. What is he still can’t roll over?
Anyway, when did your little ones first roll over? Is 2-3 months about the right time frame or was the website just being ambitious?
